In a country where days of warm weather are few and far between, it’s important that we take full advantage of these months. Luckily, the city of Mississauga has worked tirelessly to ensure that we do. With a wide variety of activities and events planned each week, Mississauga home owners can have their pick of amazing options right in their own backyard. Here are some Parkside favourites! 25th Anniversary Mississauga Food Bank Concert Celebrating 25 years of serving the community, the Mississauga Food Bank and the Mississauga symphony will be hosting their first-ever community concert. Happening tonight at the Living Arts Centre in downtown Mississauga, the evening features performances by a number of Canadian artists, all accompanied by full orchestra. Outdoor Pool Re-openings On July 9th and 10th, the city is officially opening six newly renovated outdoor pool facilities throughout Mississauga. Each of the beautiful new facilities will be hosting opening events that feature a ceremony followed by free swims, entertainment, activities and refreshments. Find more information here. Amacon hosts Mississauga Rotary Ribfest From July 14th to the 17th, Amacon and the Mississauga Rotary will be hosting the 2nd annual Amacon Mississauga Rotary Ribfest. Admission is free but, for only $20, you can get a 4 day fast pass that includes line bypass for food and beverages, along with complimentary access to the Whiteoak Ford Lincoln VIP Lounge.
